the Woven Room
For Jeremy and Kellie Myers
The Urban Social

A standing home at The Urban Social

Jennifer already knows your room well from the monthly breakfasts she hosted there, and that's the reason we're writing to you first. We're starting something new, it's going to meet twice a month, and we would love for your room to be where it happens.

Who we are

The Woven Room is a membership room for women who run businesses in Rutherford County. It meets every month over breakfast with a speaker who teaches as well as talks. That same speaker comes back for an evening workshop on the same material, so every woman leaves with something she can actually use.

We build the seating chart before every breakfast, so each woman sits with the people she most needs to meet. We start gathering in November, open to the public on Thursday, January 14, 2027, and we are Kate Parker and Jennifer Lawrence, the two women who founded it.

What we're hoping for

We clean up after ourselves and leave the room the way we found it, so we'd ask that the cleaning fee be folded into the monthly rate.

What The Urban Social gets

  1. Two bookings every month, on the calendarWeekday mornings and evenings you know are coming, paid on the first of every month, with nothing on your side to market or fill.
  2. Your room on our feed, every monthWe post before, during and after every gathering, and we tag The Urban Social and White Monkey Market every time. Your room is named in every invitation, every registration email, and on the page of our website that tells members where we meet.
  3. Professional photographs of your room, full of peopleA photographer shoots every breakfast. You're welcome to the images of the room for your website and your own posts, with her credit, so your gallery fills up with real events all year.
  4. Reviews from women who've been in the roomAfter their first gatherings, we'll ask our members to leave The Urban Social an honest Google review, so the next person searching for a room hears it from someone who sat in it.
  5. Thirty women who book roomsOur members are realtors, lenders, planners, designers and owners who host client events, showers, luncheons and holiday parties. When one of them needs a room, we'll send her to you, and we'd love to introduce the two of you at a breakfast so they know your faces.
  6. Business for White Monkey MarketMember gifts, door prizes and speaker thank-yous come from your shelves whenever we can make it work, and thirty women walk past them twice a month.
  7. A partner downtownWe want to be part of downtown, from Downtown After 5 to the Art Crawl to the holidays on the Square, and we'd love to do it alongside you, whether that means bringing our members to your door on a Friday evening or hosting something together in the room.

What we'd need from you

We'd love to sit down with you both in the room and talk it through. If a different shape works better for you, we want to hear it, because we're hoping this is the start of a long one.
