Contents

Everything for the sponsor asks, in one place

The list, the offer and the conversation. The deck is its own page, built to be shown on a tablet across a table and printed to leave behind.

Before you start

Three things that shape every ask

Faith leads the room, so it leads the conversation. The Woven Room is a faith-led women’s business group. Every gathering opens with prayer and a short devotional, members bring prayer needs for their business or their life, and speakers tie the business back to faith. Say it in the first few minutes, so a sponsor knows exactly what they are putting their name beside.

The money comes from a marketing budget. Most company giving programmes fund nonprofits only, and several on this list say so on their own sites. The Woven Room is an LLC, so the person to find is whoever spends on local marketing, business development or staff development, and the ask is framed that way.

Sponsors strengthen the room, and members are never handed to them. The brand guide is plain about it: no member list, no pitch over breakfast. A sponsor gets their name in elegant places and the gratitude of a room that is better because of them. That line protects the room, and it is also what makes the name worth having in it.

One · The list

22 businesses, ranked by fit

Ranked by how closely their own published commitments match a room of women who run businesses, and whether they have a local budget to spend. Every fact links to the business’s own website, read on 7 October 2026.

Two · The offer

Three ways to sponsor, proposed

These are a proposal for the two of us to agree. The prices are a starting point, set against what similar local sponsorships publish below. The final numbers are Kate and Jennifer’s to set.

Founding Partner

$2,500 for 2027, proposed

One per industry for the founding year, so a bank sits beside no other bank. The same rule the room keeps for its members.

  • Name on every table card and on the website through 2027.
  • Two sponsored seats for women on their team, all year ($960 at member rates).
  • One month of the room hosted in their name.
  • Thanks from the front of the room at the opening breakfast on Thursday 14 January 2027.

A Month in the Room

$500 a month, proposed

One month’s breakfast and evening workshop, hosted in their name.

  • Name on that month’s table cards and in that month’s member email and posts.
  • A word of thanks from the front of the room.
  • Two guests from their team at that breakfast.
  • If they want to teach, they go through the same speaker standard as everyone else.

A Sponsored Seat

$480 a year

A full year’s membership for a woman on their team. This price is the annual dues already in the business plan, so it needs no new decision. The seat gets exactly the experience a paying member gets, and nothing in the room says who paid.

What the comparables say

Small local hosting and exhibitor packages publish at $250 to $500, and annual or presenting sponsorships with recognition from the stage start around $1,000 to $2,500. A month at $500 sits at the top of the small range because it carries both a breakfast and a workshop. The Founding Partner at $2,500 sits at the top of the annual range, and it is roughly the value of what it bundles (two seats at $960, one hosted month at $500, a year of recognition). A higher number would price a thirty-seat room like a festival of thousands. Heels and Handshakes includes every attendee’s email address in its table package, and we deliberately offer nothing like it.

Williamson, Inc. (Franklin), Women in Business Spring Luncheon
Exhibitor $250, with two tickets and a display table. Tickets $55 member, $65 guest. The closest format to ours: a chamber-run women’s business meal. source
Heels and Handshakes (Nashville), women’s networking
Table Partnership $1,250: table, two tickets, logo on site and ticketing page, social thanks, and attendee email addresses. Monthly guest tickets $75 to $100. Whether the $1,250 is per monthly meeting is not stated. source
Women Connect, Rutherford County chapter
No sponsorship price published. Event hosts provide the venue or refreshments in return for mentions and a few minutes to present. Corporate membership is $1,450 a year for up to ten members. source
Prevention Coalition for Success (Murfreesboro), Rutherford Recovery Fest
$500 logo, $750 adds exhibit space, $1,000 adds a magazine logo, $2,500 adds stage recognition and two luncheon tickets, $5,000 presenting. source
Main Street Murfreesboro, event sponsorships
Downtown events from $750 to $6,000. Their web page and their 2026 sponsorship packet publish different prices for the same events, so confirm which is current before quoting either. source

How to ask

The conversation, on one page

Twenty minutes, one person, one specific ask. Print this section and keep it with the deck.

1Before

  • Pick one name. Read their brief below and open their own community page from the link, so you can name one thing they already do.
  • Find the person who owns a marketing budget. The brief names a role. If no name is published, call the location and ask who handles local sponsorships and community marketing.
  • Ask for twenty minutes, in person. Coffee near their office. Email only books the time.
  • Choose your tier before you go. Walk in with one number for this business, so the ask is specific.
  • Bring the deck on a tablet, a printed copy to leave, and your card.

2The ask

  1. Open on them. One line about the thing you saw them do in the community.
  2. Describe her. The woman who runs something and is very good at it. Pause, then ask who among their clients or their own team looks like her.
  3. Faith first. The room opens in prayer and a short devotional.
  4. The room, in three things. A seat chosen for her, a speaker who teaches, a room that stays small.
  5. The ask. One tier, one number, one start date. Then stop talking and let them answer.
  6. Agree the next step before you stand up, with a date on it.

3After

  • Same day: a short thank you by email with the deck PDF, the one tier you discussed, and the date you agreed.
  • Log it with Kate the same day, so nobody asks the same business twice.
  • One follow up a week later. A second at two weeks, carrying something new, such as a speaker who has been booked. Then let it rest until the next quarter.
  • When they say yes, Kate sends the written terms and the invoice, and collects their logo.

4Leave behind

  • The printed deck. Ten pages, landscape.

When they hesitate

“We only fund nonprofits.”
This sits in a marketing or business development budget. The Woven Room is a business, and you are offering a place for their name in front of women who own businesses.
“Send me something.”
Happily. Then ask which day next week you can follow up, and put it in your calendar there and then.
“Not this year.”
Ask when their budget is set, and offer a single sponsored seat for someone on their team in the meantime.

Four lines we hold in every conversation

Faith leads the room, and we say so up front.

One sponsor per industry, the same way the room holds about three women per industry.

No sponsor receives member contact details, and nobody is pitched over breakfast.

A sponsor who wants to teach goes through the same speaker standard as everyone else: the breakfast and the evening workshop, on something a member can use by Monday.

How this list was checked

Every address, name and quoted commitment above was read on the business’s own website on 7 October 2026. Directories, chamber listings and news roundups were used only to find names, and nothing from them is quoted. Anything that could not be confirmed on the business’s own site is marked under Check first. A named person appears only where their own employer publishes the name and the title.

Already in hand and left off this list: Fifth Third through Daniel Chunn, the Rutherford County Chamber, The Scout Guide, and the Discovery Center.

The Woven Room

Sponsors, draft one, 7 October 2026. Reads alongside the business plan and the sponsor deck.
Every fact on this page links to its source. Every price is a proposal until both founders agree it.
