Welcome

What the Woven Room is

The Woven Room is a faith-led membership room for women who are building something in Rutherford County. Faith comes first here. We open every gathering in prayer, share a short devotional, and make room for the prayer needs you bring for your business or your life. Our speakers and workshops tie the business back to faith.

Every month we gather over breakfast with a speaker who teaches as well as talks, and every month we decide ahead of time who you sit beside.

It was founded by Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Parker in August 2026, and it is owned and run by the two of them together.

Your membership

What membership includes

1

A room that opens in prayer

Every breakfast and every workshop opens with prayer and a short devotional. You can bring a prayer need for your business or your life.

2

A seat chosen for you

When you join, you fill in a short questionnaire, and you refresh it each month when you sign up for the breakfast. We use it to build the seating chart before every breakfast, so the women at your table are there on purpose. You are greeted at the door and walked to your seat.

3

A breakfast with a speaker who teaches

Each month's speaker brings something you can put to work in your own business and ties it back to faith, and every speaker is booked on that condition.

4

An evening workshop on the same material

The morning's speaker comes back that month for a hands-on evening session, so you get the taste at breakfast and then the practice, and you leave with the skill.

5

Something to do before the next one

Meet at least one woman from your table outside the room before the next breakfast. You also get a bingo card with the faces and business names of the women in the room, and a filled card goes into a drawing.

6

Through the year

Prayer and a short devotional open every meeting, then a wins segment. Referral numbers are added up monthly so you can see what the room is producing. Awards every quarter, and a dress-up dinner once a year.

Dues

What it costs, and the founder lock

Monthly
$40 a month.
Founder lock
Founding members keep the $40 rate for three years.
Sponsored seats
A company can buy a seat for a woman on its team. She is a full member, and nobody in the room can tell a sponsored seat from a paid one.
To decide
The annual price, who counts as a founding member and by what date, how dues are paid, and what a sponsored seat costs.
Gatherings

How a month runs

Before the breakfast

You sign up and refresh your answers

Your answers feed the seating chart, and the chart is finished before the doors open.

The breakfast

A weekday morning, Monday to Thursday

You are greeted and walked to your table. We open with prayer and a short devotional, and anyone can bring a prayer need for her business or her life. Then wins, then the speaker teaches and ties it back to faith. A photographer is in the room, and the breakfast is streamed live.

The evening

The workshop, 5:30 to 8:30pm

The same speaker, hands-on, on a weekday evening that same month. It opens the same way, with prayer and a short devotional.

In between

Meet one woman from your table

Coffee, a call, a visit to her shop. Whatever works for the two of you.

The room

Where we meet

The Urban Social
224 W Main Street, Murfreesboro TN 37130. An event room for up to fifty guests, behind White Monkey Market, a vintage and local-brands shop. Owners Jeremy and Kellie Myers.
Hours we hold it
The breakfast room is ours from 6:00 to 10:00am, set up and cleaned up included. The evening workshop runs 5:30 to 8:30pm.
Being confirmed
Our proposal is with Jeremy and Kellie, and the arrangement is not final until they say yes. Parking is also to confirm.
The room stays small

How industries are balanced

The room holds about thirty women, with roughly three per industry, each at a different stage of building. That way there is always someone at your table who has already solved the thing you are stuck on, and someone you can help in turn.

When the room fills, a second chapter opens rather than this one growing past thirty.

The culture

How we treat each other

Drawn from the draft values and member portrait. Faith leading the room is decided. The rest still needs both founders to sign off.

1

Faith leads the room

Faith comes first here, and we talk about God openly. It shapes how you are welcomed and how we care for each other.

2

You belong before you contribute

Your place in the room is never earned by status or usefulness, and no member is ever ranked.

3

Everyone leaves with something

A skill, a contact, a decision you can finally make. A morning that sends you home empty handed is our miss.

4

Experience circulates

The woman five years ahead is the curriculum. Speakers come out of the membership as often as from outside it.

5

Share the air, and leave the pitch at home

Thirty women share one room and one morning. Nobody comes to sell to the table, and nobody fills every silence.

Leaving, and getting in touch

To decide before this goes to members

Sixteen things still open

  1. The annual price. Kate's call is $480 with no prepay discount, and it needs Jennifer's yes.
  2. Who counts as a founding member, and the date the founder lock closes.
  3. How dues are paid, and on what day of the month.
  4. What a sponsored seat costs a company.
  5. The standing day each month for the breakfast and for the workshop.
  6. What time members arrive and when the breakfast finishes.
  7. Whether there is food at the evening workshop.
  8. Attendance: what happens when you miss a month, and whether a seat can be sent to a colleague.
  9. Guests: whether you can bring one, how often, and what a guest pays.
  10. When your industry's three seats are full, whether you join a waiting list or take a seat in the next chapter.
  11. The eight-minute mastermind. It is tested on the Council of Women in November, then it either joins the format or it does not.
  12. Photographs and the live stream: how a member says she would rather not be shown.
  13. A written conduct policy, and what happens when it is broken.
  14. Leaving: notice, refunds, and whether a founding member who leaves and returns keeps her rate.
  15. The address members write to.
  16. The rest of the values and the member portrait the culture section is drawn from. Faith leading the room is decided.
